FAQs

Q: Why do your products cost a bit more from those on Etsy?

A: All of our products large and small are designed individually, edited, measured, checked as many times to make sure its as perfect as can be, and then made. As you can imagine, this takes time! Ok is not good enough for us here at BeeU Creations. We strive for the "squeal" of happiness when a product is completed.

Q: Do you make individual items for people not part of the groups?

A: Yes! Pricing varies and design fees are already included in most orders. When special ordering, be sure to include as many details as possible so we can get a clear and creative idea of what to design. Sometimes designs are made completely from scratch and the details take time to make. We know you will love it!

Q: What are design fees?

A: Design fees are for the time and resources involved in creating your unique design. Sometimes an idea/request will take more time to develop and set up so for those, there will be a design fee added.

Q: Why hand make your products instead of having big printing companies do it for you?

A: Big companies are good for "generic" products and/or mass production. They ARE not able to personalize each item for the customer in groups. Not to mention its just not art at their level, its just printing logos or images. :-)

Q: What is sublimation printing?

A: Sublimation printing is a technique that uses heat and pressure to transfer dye onto materials like fabric, ceramic, and metal, creating vibrant and long-lasting designs. The process involves turning the dye into gas, which then permeates the material, resulting in a print that becomes part of the substrate rather than sitting on top of it.

Q: What is HTV?

A: Heat Transfer Vinyl is a heat activated vinyl that can be added with heat to a variety of fabrics and other materials.

Q: What is UV printing?

A: UV printing, or ultraviolet printing, is a digital printing technique that uses UV light to instantly cure or dry the ink applied to various materials. This method allows for high-quality prints with vibrant colors and sharp details.

Q: What is laser engraving?

A:Laser engraving is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. The engraving process renders a design by physically cutting into the object to remove material. The technique does not involve the use of inks or tool bits.
